ABOUT ME

SeanCarmody2_edited.jpg

Passionate award-winning digital executive with exceptional new product and game development, team building, and production leadership abilities. I have deep experience with entertainment brands and franchises, as well as games, mobile, and new technology entertainment, with a specialty for kids and families. I have created new IP and extended brands, when needed.

More than 25 years in the digital product development and advertising arena, with over 20 of those as a member of leadership teams that navigated many of the world’s biggest brands to successful product releases. My years of production work provide me accurate instincts for project schedules, budgets, UI/UX, and team health.

I build and hire strong teams, create great product ideas with them, manage the team(s), and get cool stuff made and released successfully.

ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

My Studies

BS, COMPUTER SCIENCE
NYU TANDON SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING

Completed my Bachelor or Science degree in Computer Science with a Minor in Applied Mathematics. Promptly did not put the degree to use, as my interest and success was building as a musician. My parents were thrilled.

UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER

Started my secondary schooling at the University or Rochester. Initially was interested in Electrical Engineering, but realized software was more of a passion for me. Could not endure more winters there, plus could not find a band to play in! So I moved back south to Brooklyn.
